In May 2024, my partner and I set off on a spontaneous road trip across Albania—drawn in by £30 flights and completely unprepared for how stunning the country would be. From Tirana’s vibrant streets to the coastal beauty of Vlorë, the dramatic Llogara Pass, the beaches of Sarandë and Ksamil, and the inland charm of Berat, Albania delivered breathtaking scenery and incredible value at every turn.
